Did you know that you were created for a purpose, and to fulfill a destiny? The God of heaven and earth, Creator of this universe, maker of everything in it, it is in Him that we live and move and have our being. He knows you by name and He is calling you out. Do you hear? Will you listen?
This Almighty God knew you before you were born. Creating you in His image, He formed you within your mother’s womb, making all the delicate inner parts and weaving you together. Before you were born, He consecrated you and ordained all the number of days you were to walk on this earth. Every single one. His name is Jesus, the Christ, and He longs for a relationship with you.
There is a space in your heart that only Jesus can fill. Everything else you try to fill it with will leave you frustrated and empty. Can the created say to the Creator “You were wrong to create me thus”? Anything you or I do in life to alter who we were created to be, any path that we may choose that would identify us as something else, is a fist in the face of this all powerful, all knowing God whose love for you is so immense that He gave His very own life as a ransom for you, and then was raised to life so that you could be set free to love Him in return.
Don’t be deceived by the voices you hear telling you that you are different than who you were born to be! it is a ploy, a deception of the evil one to lure you away so that he can destroy the image of God created and reflected in you. Why? Because he hates God. It is his goal to prevent you from fulfilling your purpose, your calling, your destiny – who you were created to be, and to crush the very life of Jesus right out of you. He doesn’t want you to know how the love of Jesus Christ can set you free!
To know Jesus is to fulfill your destiny and to understand what love truly is. It is understanding and learning how to live by design rather than by default. It is to choose life over death.
