Colorado Life

Saturday, May 21, 2002, this is what I woke up to, ugh! At first all I could think about was my poor flowers and trees that had buds all over, and how I might not get to see them bloom because of it.

BUT THEN… I got out in it to knock some of that heavy snow off our trees and bushes, and to put fresh hummingbird nectar out, and oh my goodness.. it’s deep! It’s the kind of snow I used to dream of growing up in Texas when I was a kid, before I ever saw snow. All of the sudden this little kid in me comes out! God is good. We sure needed the moisture!

“Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100:1-5‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
