A Fool’s Mouth

Bloggers be encouraged! We have been given a unique gift and platform to use as we choose, and we are here for a reason. Using them in wisdom doesn’t always come naturally…

“A fools mouth is his ruin, and his lips are the snare of his soul.”

-Proverbs 18:7

But with God’s help, it will come!

Learning the art of silence, when to speak (or write) and when not, as well as what to speak (or write) and what not, is a difficult challenge for the best of us. Selecting words that resonate and have the right impact is more than just learning the art of diplomacy, it is an artisan craft. For the Christian it means learning to hear and obey the Father, and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill your mouth or page – not for your own glory and edification, but to the glory of God and to accomplish His purposes through you on this earth.

“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

Proverbs 16:24

‘This is how the Lord responds: “If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!’

Jeremiah 15:19

WOOT, WOOT!! Go get ’em, Tigers!
