Grace!

Lord, I fail so often!  I have lofty prayers of taking captive thoughts and walking your path, and I fail almost every time.  THANK YOU, dear God, for your Holy grace!  I am totally dependent upon it!  I can do nothing apart from you, but can do all things through you as you give me strength (Philippians 4:13)!  Thank you, too, that your love for me is not conditional or based upon my behavior or performance, but of my relationship with you – of who YOU are and whose I am!  Through that grace I have become your daughter! Draw me near. Keep me near. I like the image of a little one standing always near or behind daddy, looking around his legs.
